Shatter your notions about dinosaurs and take a journey of discovery into the world of modern paleontology. This amazing exhibition focuses on dinosaurs not as fossils but as living creatures. The ever-changing field of paleontology joins forces with the fields of biology, biochemistry, geology and computer sciences to show how dinosaurs breathed, battled and bred.
The colossal 6,500-square-foot exhibition includes an extraordinary diorama of a 130-million-year-old Mesozoic forest in China. Investigate dramatic breakthroughs in paleontology, including newly discovered fossils that reveal the evolutionary link between ancient dinosaurs and modern-day birds. View a fossil cast from Sinornithosaurus millennii that exhibits both downy fluff and primitive feathers. See a fossil of the foot of a Coelophysis, which resembles that of a modern-day turkey and watch an animatronic T. rex walk in place.
New dinosaur fossils are being uncovered faster than ever before while advanced technologies are helping to paint new pictures of prehistoric life. This interactive exhibition addresses many persistent and puzzling dinosaur mysteries, but at its heart are questions about how one of the most captivating creatures of all time lived... and died.
